Gujrat CM launched the insurance scheme for the welfare of the labourers under Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana as the pilot basic, where they will provide financial assistance to the labourers and their family in case of any accident happen to them at the workplace. Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Scheme is implemented through the Indian Postal Department, the Indian Post Payment Banks and the Ministry of Labor and Employment, where those who assured family will benefit from this scheme within 60 days.
