India had partnered with the ADB where they are going to finance the Rajasthan Secondary Towns Development Sector Project which is aimed at expanding the water supply and sanitation systems of the Rajasthan government while introducing innovative and climate-resilient solutions to expand fundamental urban services while incorporating nature-based approaches to restore heritage structures. Under the scheme, the Rajasthan government had aimed at replacing approximately 700 km of leaking water pipes and installing 1,400 km of new water supply pipelines.
