A young spinner bowler named Shreyanka Patil created history when she become India origin Indian cricketer to be signed by the Women’s Caribbean Premier League ( WCPL), adding to the fact that she is also 1st to offer a contract in an overseas league before her international debut. She made her name too when she was selected for the Royal Challenger’s Banglore ( RCB), in the inaugural edition of the WPL. She was selected for the team of Guyana Amazon Warriors which will play in a match to be held from 31st August to 10 September. She also won the ‘Player of the Tournament award in the recently concluded Women’s Emerging Asia Cup held in Hong Kong for her performance.
